The love for Paneer Tikkas is irreplaceable. Follow my below paneer tikka recipe which has a great marination and you would love it. Be it the street style one or a fine dining, craving for this palatable dish never fade away. It is a wholesome meal for some, a mandatory party starter for few and this is one dish which even non vegetarians smash off the plates, if served to them. So, let’s get going with this simple yet delicious recipe:

Ingredients

Paneer                                 : 250 gm (cut into big cubes)

Onion                                    : 2 (one onion cut into cubes and onr in rings)

Capsicum                             : 1 (cut into cubes)

Red bell pepper                                : 1/4 (cut into cubes)

Yellow bell pepper          : 1/4 (cut into cubes)

Mustard Oil                        : 2-3 tbsp

Hung Curd                           : 1/2 cup

Roasted Besan                  : 2 tbsp

Ginger-garlic paste          : 3 tbsp

Red chili powder              : 2 tsp

Kasoori Methi                    : 1/2 tsp

Cumin powder                  : 1/2 tsp

Garam Masala                   : 1/2 tsp

Chaat masala                     : 1-2 tsp

Green chili                          : 2 (chopped)

Butter                                   : 2 tbsp (for brushing over)

Salt to taste

Lemon juice, Melted Butter, Fresh cream and Coriander for garnish

Skewer sticks dipped in water for 15-20 minutes

Recipe

  1. Mix all the ingredients except veggies and paneer in a bowl and give a good mix
  2. Add cubes of veggies and paneer and mix well with light hands or spoon and keep the marination for 30 minutes in fridge
  3. Now, arrange marinated paneer and veggies on stick and place in airfryer over a baking paper
  4. Brush melted butter over the paneer and veggies and airfry for 7-8 minutes each side at 180°C
  5. In the same bowl, add melted butter, fresh cream, coriander and chaat masala; and mix well
  6. Take out cooked skewers in serving plate and spread the mixture all over the veggies and panner and put lemon juice over it and serve hot

Important tips:

  1. You can also grill the dish on gas or in oven or on a pan
  2. If airfrying, do not airfry more than required else it leads to dry dish. Different air fryer have different setting, capacity and heat levels, so do keep a close check if doing it for first time
