Kids love to eat something different and tasty but this should not be done at the cost of their health. Pancakes are appealing to children as well as adults, so let’s make its healthier version without any compromise on the taste. This recipe is very simple; and trust me filling too.

Nicely ripe bananas         : 2 medium sizes

Milk                                  : 1 cup

Oats                                 : 1.5 cups

Vanilla extract                   : 1 tsp

Cinnamon                         : 1/2 tsp

Olive oil for butter for cooking

For dressing: use anything that is available or of your choice

Fruits of your choice; or

Honey or maple syrup; or

Chocolate syrup; or

Whipped cream

  1. Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend well till smooth thick paste like consistency
  2. You can use this batter straightaway or put it in fridge for 5-10 minutes for best results
  3. Grease a nonstick pan slightly with oil or butter and when on medium flame, put a ladle full of batter spreading it in circular shape
  4. Cover the lid of the pan and cook on medium heat for 3-4 minutes or till golden brown from bottom
  5. Flip the pancake and cook on the other side as well till golden brown
  6. Cook as many batches of pancakes like this, as required
  7. Garnish with dressings of your choice
